Each quilt kit is hand curated at Angels Neverland using the original You Are My Sunshine panel along with many of the original coordinating fabrics from this now hard-to-find collection. Where original blenders are no longer available—or where another coordinating blender better complements the quilt—I carefully select high-quality coordinating fabrics that preserve the warm sunflower-inspired look of the original design.

• Extra fabric beyond the pattern requirements for easier cutting

To make this project even more beginner friendly, the coordinating fabrics are cut as generous 8-inch strips by the width of fabric, providing more fabric than the pattern requires.

This gives you:

• Extra fabric for comfortable cutting
• Flexibility to cut across the width or length of fabric for directional prints
• A little extra "wiggle room" throughout the project

Backing

Backing fabric is sold separately.

Because the finished quilt is very close to the width of standard quilting cotton, I recommend completing your quilt top before selecting backing fabric.

If you'd like to purchase backing with your kit:

• 4 yards is recommended for the easiest finishing.
• Experienced quilters may be comfortable using approximately 3 yards, depending on their preferred backing method.
