Each September Tara Reed enjoys visiting "a local sunflower farm near my home in Portland, Oregon. The combination of crisp, fall air, tall evergreens, and sunflowers as far as the eye can see is so captivating. As I wander the rows of blooms I can watch the bees moving from flower to flower. It is such a peaceful experience that touches all the sense and helped inspire the Honey Bees and Flowers Please collection. I tried to capture the beauty and synergy that exists between the majestic sunflowers and noble bees and can't wait to see how sewists and quilters use this collection."
