❓ Do I Need the Optional Binding Add-On?

Many 3-yard quilt patterns include enough fabric for a single-fold binding, but most do not include enough for a double-fold binding (the most common choice for strength and longevity). And some patterns don’t include any binding fabric in the 3-yard cutting plan — it must be added separately.
