Summer is finally starting to settle in after Memorial Day weekend… and somehow the cozy autumn fabrics are already beginning to sneak their way back onto the cutting table. 😄🍂
I’m definitely not ready to give up watermelon quilts, patriotic projects, and bright summer sewing just yet — but every year around this time I start spotting warm florals, pumpkins, sunflowers, and cozy quilt kits that make me excited for the next sewing season too. ✨

Between working on the new website, cutting fabric, writing the Straight On Till Morning quilt pattern, and getting a few quilt kits prepped and ready to ship, I’ve also been pulling some of my fall fabrics and projects back onto the cutting table lately.
One of the kits I’ve been revisiting is Fall Into Autumn — a cozy beginner-friendly quilt kit featuring a beautiful Studio E panel surrounded by warm florals, pumpkins, and rich autumn-inspired fabrics. Honestly, it feels like the perfect “bridge” project between summer quilting and cozy season sewing.
