Not sure what a Fat Quarter (FQ) is? We’ve got you! A fat quarter is created by cutting a half yard of fabric in half widthwise, giving you an 18" x 21" rectangle. It’s the same total fabric as a ¼ yard (which measures 9" x 43-45"), but in a more versatile shape for cutting and piecing.
