Easy DIY Beginner QUILT KIT to create a Holiday Gift.  Bright colored 5 inch PRECUT squares (see image) to help you start and finish your project quickly.  Super fun Penguin & Polar Bear Panel is the center focus to this quilt.  Yardage fabric you will use to cut your strips and binding is included to complete the TOP and BINDING of your quilt.  Backing can be added from this listing or purchased separately.

**Please note finished quilt top was made by a customer and shown with permission.  She also used a couple squares of her own (snowmen and gnomes) that are not included in this kit.  The image is shown as an example of a project.**

BACKING SOLD SEPARATELY as an ADD ON option on this listing.  Suggested Cotton Fabric:  Any of the prints in the collection are available, the the default on this listing is the larger print "winter scene".  Please ask if you want to substitute a different fabric.  Suggested Shannon Cuddle Minky Heather Peppermint. It it possible to create a quilt without batting when substituting Minky for Cotton Backing.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFO:
The pattern calls for 42 five-inch squares.  You choose how to arrange your framed squares, but they are pre-cut and ready to go.  Save Time and Money!  You can choose to arrange your squares in any way you like. The image shown is a color wash rendering to give you an idea on colors included in this kit.  (Actual fabric pre-cut square image in listing)

BACKING UPGRADE OPTIONS:
Backing Yardage figured using RK (Robert Kaufman) Quilting Calculator; due to the directional nature of suggested fabrics, you should calculate with the fabric running the length of the quilt. Cotton fabric will require a seam down the center. Shannon Cuddle with fit across the width of the quilt; therefore less fabric is needed.

4 yards of Cotton Fabric (43/45 width)
or
2 yards of Cuddle Minky (58/60 width)

Please contact me if you see a different fabric you want to purchase for your backing.

ADDITIONAL MATERIALS NEEDED:

• Batting if desired (typically not necessary when using Cuddle Minky as back)
• all purpose thread
• rotary cutter, mat, and ruler or your usual cutting supplies
• basic sewing supplies

Quilt Kit is sealed in envelopes, placed in box or additional envelope or bubble envelope. Shipped securely with insurance through USPS or UPS.
